The Company Dohle was founded in the heart of the textile industry of Aachen, first as a supplier of accessories for the textile industry, then, very soon, as a manufacturer of special sewing machines. Three machines well known in the textile industry. In the left you see the famous Kl.714 and in the middle the Kl.750. The two stand mounted machines are from the 30s, whereas the rail-mounted machine Kl.789 dates from the 50s. Needless to say that many of these machines are still in use all over the world. In the 50s expansion continued and a new, bigger manufacturing site was found in Eschweiler, only 20min away from Aachen. |
